Sunshine at Diamond springs: Fair and Golf
Plan to join us on September 18 at Diamond Springs Golf Course in Hamilton! Everyone is welcome to join the fun, whether you’re a golfer, looking for a family outing, or wanting to reconnect with others who have been part of the Camp Sunshine community. In this event, we’re pairing a scramble (with competitions and prizes) with the activities you might find at a county fair—topped off with food booths and trucks.
The Golf Event
The traditional scramble format has a 10 a.m. shotgun start, with boxed lunches offered as the course winds past the clubhouse. Gather your foursome of family or friends and plan on a driving, putting, and chipping competition after the 18-hole play.
The Fair Activities
From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m., your kids and the kid in you can play Connect Four, Giant Plinko, Frog Flinger, the Toilet Bowl Toss, or other games! Pet and walk with Flame the miniature horse from Fellinlove Farm. Watch a balloon artist at work. Buy a commemorative T-shirt or other Camp Sunshine mementos. You’ll be well fed with snacks included with the purchase of a family or individual pass, and can buy additional food items from food trucks or booths.
