At Camp Sunshine, we take seriously our mission to provide a safe, meaningful, and joy-filled experience for our community. For 38 years, we’ve done our best to provide high-quality care that meets the individual needs of each camper.
Now, we’re facing significant challenges posed by COVID-19. Given everything we know about the virus and, specifically, how it could jeopardize the health and safety of our campers, counselors, and the rest of the Camp Sunshine community, our Board of Directors has made the agonizing decision not to offer a traditional camp experience in the 2020 season.
Although Camp Sunshine will not be hosting traditional camp this year, our staff and volunteer leaders are engaged in designing alternate Sunshine experiences. This crisis is an opportunity for our mission to be evident in all that we do: assuring that members of our Camp Sunshine community feel valued, loved, and accepted in the weeks and months to come.

"This was one of the greatest experiences of my life. From the campers, to the counselors, to the staff, I have never felt so much love, encouragement, and acceptance in one place. Every camper is able to let their own light shine as bright as possible. This camp provides so many opportunities and meets everyone where they are at in life. So many amazing stories and relationships developed."
