2024 CAMP SUNSHINE
Camp Sunshine's overnight will return in summer 2024! Sessions will be offered at both Camp Henry (Newaygo, MI) and Camp Blodgett (West Olive, MI). Applications open January 3, 2024
Sessions will take place at both of our camp locations:
Camp Henry in Newaygo

Camp Blodgett in West Olive
Session 1: June 24-27
Session 2: June 28-July 1

Camp Henry activities include:

Camper Financial Information
Camp Sunshine strives to offer a camp experience to anyone who is interested, regardless of financial needs. The following options are available during the registration process: setting up a payment plan, utilizing respite funds, or applying for a scholarship.
Payment Plan
You can set up an incremental payment plan that meets your needs when you register. Payment is due in full on April 30, 2024 for Camp Henry campers, and May 15, 2024 for Camp Blodgett campers.
Respite Funds
If you would like to utilize respite funds to pay for camp, we are happy to support this process. We have collaborated with county community mental health agencies such as Network 180 and HealthWest, as well as other churches and organizations. Please have your caseworker contact the Camp Sunshine team for the next steps.
Scholarship
You will be able to apply for a Camp Sunshine scholarship at registration. Scholarships are determined on a year-to-year basis and not guaranteed.
Individuals with a current Individualized Education Plan (IEP) may qualify for a scholarship through the Michigan CEC. To learn more and apply, click here.

Overnight Camp Refund Policy
Refund information will be available in the Camp Doc application.
We will begin accepting applications for our upcoming summer sessions on January 3, 2024.
The registration link will take you to the Camp Doc program to complete your registration. You'll need to log in to your previous Camp Doc account or create a new account if you're registering for the first time. The application will take around 45 minutes to complete.
