Join us on Saturday, August 1 for a day of excitement, inclusion, and outdoor fun. We’ll be enjoying the beauty of Michigan at the Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park! Activities include:
🛷 Adaptive Luge with wheels
⚡ Adaptive Zip Line
🥾 Universally Accessible Hike
Adventure Day is designed for everyone to experience the thrill of the outdoors. End the day with a campfire celebration and new friendships!

Applications open May 4! You can sign up to be part of this event by logging into your Camp Doc account.

Camper check in is at 8:30am on August 1, and camper pickup is at 3pm.

The cost to attend this event is $125. Respite funds with contracted counties may be used to pay for this event. Payment or respite authorization is due by July 5.

New campers will need to fill out the pre-application and submit references by June 8 as the first step. After review, they will then be contacted with next steps.

If you attended our 2026 Summer Camp sessions, Sunshine in the Snow or a previous Harvesting Sunshine, your application information is saved but we still need you to register for this event and review your application for accuracy. It shouldn’t take long! PLEASE prioritize updating all medical information, medications and sign all required waivers. Returning camper applications should be complete by July 5.

The time frame for counselors to commit is 8am-3:30pm.

We are inviting both counselors and leadership to sign up for this event as a counselor that will be paired 1:1 with a camper! Sign-ups for counselors will open in Civic Champs on May 4!

Bring a friend! A day camp is a great opportunity to introduce a friend to Camp Sunshine!
